In the News : I went to Sprinkles for the first time! I can’t even tell you how off-the-wall excited I was when we walked in! We ate the most delicious Lemon Meringue Cupcake – graham cracker crust, lemon filling, meringue frosting. It may very well have been the best cupcake I’ve ever had. Also, T minus 15 days until moving day! The movers are scheduled, cleaning and packing lists have been written, utilities are ready to be turned on, and all that’s left to do is pack!

In My Kitchen : I sauteed a bunch of zucchini with garlic and Gruyere smoked chicken sausage for my lunches this week, which was absolutely delicious. My dinners have been pretty boring these days, though!


In My Workouts : A little bit of yoga and a little bit of arm work. The number on the scale is still slowly dropping and I only have 7 pounds to go before reaching my goal weight, which is a really big deal!

On the Farm : I was heading out to feed the horses last night and there was a Gila monster on the path! I am very thankful that they are such slow movers. Have I mentioned I’m not a huge fan of the desert? Venomous creatures everywhere you look! *shiver*


Mood : Excited! There are only 28 work days left in the school year, I got an e-mail letting me know that my Enchilada Pizza was featured on Saving Star’s website, and I’m heading to Phoenix to spend the weekend with my beau. Life is good.
