Christian Monthly Journal Prompts – July 2025

| | |

Use these 31 daily Bible verses and Christian journal prompts for July focused on first tuning into God, your body, and your emotions, then responding with Scripture-based self-care.

Tuning Into God, Your Body, and Your Emotions

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s something modeled for us in Scripture.

This month, the prompts and Bible verses are focused on self-care—nurturing your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being by:

1st – tuning into what God is speaking to your heart, what your body needs, and what your emotions are trying to tell you.

2nd – responding to those things.

We often push ourselves to the point of burnout (🙋🏼‍♀️ I get it! I’m a work-from-home mom of two little boys battling insomnia and involved in ministry!), but Jesus modeled a different way of living.

He was so connected to His Father. Even in a world where people were desperate for more of His teachings, attention, and miracles, He intentionally carved out time regularly for His relationship with God.

He rested. He withdrew to pray. He cared deeply for others while still honoring His own limits.

This month, I’m using these prompts to lean more into those things and draw near to Him daily as I journal through July. Respond with words, drawings (I’m a fan of stick figures myself), stickers, Scriptures, or however else you connect with God in journaling!

Each day includes a Bible verse and a journal prompt to help you reflect, reset, and reconnect with the One who knows you best.
