27 Years
Yesterday, I celebrated 27 years of blessings.
27 special birthday cakes made with love by my mother. Technically I haven’t received the 27th yet, but it’ll happen.

26 gazillion whole grains in the bagel topped with homemade Nutella that my coworker brought for my pre-birthday breakfast “in bed.”
25 months my baby Roxy has been alive.
24 recipe ideas that I have written, waiting to be made.
23 episodes of The Pioneer Woman waiting in my DVR to watch with my sister over break.
22 hugs that I’ve received from people I love, just today.
21 years since the day I decided to run away from home with my wagon, a backpack full of underwear, and a piece of cheese. My sister followed me on her bike and took me home not long afterward, but it was a turning point in my life.
20 pictures from this little blog that have been accepted by Food Gawker.
19 packages of Mio that I’ve gone through this year. I’m an addict. I have one in my purse with me always.
18 batches of cookies that I’ve made in the past 6 months.
17 years that I’ve been friends with the best friends of all the friends.
16 years that my beloved Jeep has been chugging along. I sure wish it would chug along forever.
15 – the age I decided to live with Jesus as the center of my life.
14 moose. And that’s just counting the ones in the living room.
13 scarves that I now own. The long, warm, flowy-ness just makes me so happy!
12 Cold Stone cupcakes that my wonderful friend and co-worker brought me to work on Friday.
11 days until my mom flies in. Boy, I’ve missed her!
10 working fingers that allow me to express myself (and make a living) in sign language.
9 Fruit of the Spirit that I try to live daily – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22 is my life verse.
8 weeks since I’ve seen my favorite niece, Brianna.
7 years of blogging! I can’t believe it’s been that long!
6 years that I’ve been working as a sign language interpreter! Some years were tougher than others, but I sure do love what I do.
5 more work days until Christmas break!
4 times that I’ve listened to Alvin and the Chipmunks sing “Christmas, Don’t Be Late” today, a forever favorite of mine.
3 girls in our family, my 2 sisters and I, known to some as “Charlie’s Angels.” Don’t mind the evil eyes. We’re pretty fierce.
2 Christmases (including the one that is quickly approaching) that precious little Caden (my nephew) has celebrated with us!
1 wacky, crazy, chock full of love, ready to serve in an instant church congregation that I’m blessed to be a part of.
