Christian Exercise Music {30+ Songs For Your Workout Playlist}

| | |

Looking for Christian exercise music for clean, upbeat faith-filled songs? Check out this workout playlist, perfect for running, at-home workouts, and more!

Confession – I really don’t like workout remixes.

I’m not a fan of techno music and when they try to jazz up songs to boost the tempo…well, they often lose me because of it.

On the other hand, I absolutely love Contemporary Christian music and I have K-LOVE playing on my radio whenever I’m driving.

So, instead of a workout remix, I try to be on the lookout for upbeat, fun Christian songs to workout to and I keep a running list of them on my phone.

These songs are all clean, inspirational songs that can motivate you to move and make exercise an act of worship!

Some of these songs are oldies but goodies. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve worked out to “Dive” by Stephen Curtis Chapman since high school!

Others are recent hits from the radio or just songs recommended to me by friends that I fell in love with.

Some of them are a little bit more mellow and some a little bit more intense, which I love because there is always a song to fit my intensity level and mood!

I often play these songs during my Faithful Fitness workouts (try the free 5-day Faith + Fitness Jumpstart Challenge!), on my morning runs, and while I do HIIT workouts in my living room.

Not only are the tempos of the songs literally upbeat, but the lyrics talk about overcoming obstacles (great for when your legs are turning to jelly), doing hard things (like when you are pushing through one last rep), and affirming your unshakable worth in Christ (I need that daily).

  1. Absolutely loved this post. As a deaf person, I don’t really love music per se but I love good lyrics. Most times when folks mention a song I need to spend a lot of time looking up the lyrics. Believe me,
    it’s a lot of time. Imagine you are completely deaf and you will see why I said that about time. I love words.

    I wanted to thank you for such an inspiring list. My company is doing a 30-day health and fitness challenge, and sent us 3 playlists. Not many of the songs listed inspire me to say the least. I shared YOUR playlist as an alternative, for those of US who prefer this faith based genre.
