Sharing the Table with Momma’s Meals

|

One of my favorite things about blogging is the way it brings people together who may never have met otherwise. I know a lot of visitors here don’t comment, so I have no idea who many of you are (though I’d like to), but you know plenty about me!

Another blogger, Tammi from Momma’s Meals, e-mailed me recently and asked if she could feature me in a series that she does where she highlights a different blogger every Friday.

#1 – Somebody wants to feature me? What?! Coolest thing ever!

#2 – She does this cool thing where she picks a recipe from my site, makes it, and adds that to her feature story.

#3 – Obviously, I said yes. And then I went to her site and read post after post, getting to know her.

She sounds like she’s a lot like me – she adores her husband, she doesn’t like carbonation, she hates driving, and (obviously) she is passionate about cooking.

She blogs about her husband and kids and crafts, as well as food, which I love. I know it sounds creepy, but I love little peeks into others’ everyday lives. I love reading stories about spouses and kids and pets and kitchen adventures and the general ups and downs of life.

And because she picked one of my recipes to make (as I’m writing this, I don’t even know which one she picked yet!), I decided it was only right to pick one of her recipes, as well. Just like how I always ask servers at restaurants what their top menu picks are, I asked her what her favorite recipes from her site are and her top pick was her Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie.

She had me at “pot pie.”

And a meal that can cook all day while I’m at work? Boy, do I love those!

I'm Being Featured : So Very Blessed

It was super fast, really easy to throw together, and I came home from work to a house that smelled fantastic! It’s such a great meal for a busy weeknight when you don’t have time to spend in the kitchen.

She has a ton of other recipes on her site, from BBQ Bacon Meatloaf Cups to Healthy Tater Tots.

Head over and see what she has to say about whichever recipe of mine she picked!
