Garlic Bread Recipe

The great stomach bug of 2013 is officially gone and I’m excitedly back in the kitchen!  There’s meat marinating in the fridge and a cake in the oven…I’m a happy girl!

For most of my adult life, I’ve been making cheater’s garlic bread – sandwich bread, butter, and spices thrown in the toaster oven.  That works great when it’s just me, but I’ve been having dinner guests recently and this method is way easier for a crowd!

First, just whip up some garlic butter.  Feel free to use your favorite garlic bread spices but mine are garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, parsley, basil, oregano, and Parmesan cheese.

and wrap up the loaf.

Bake it for 15-20 minutes and you have already-sliced, warm, ready-to-serve garlic bread!

I LOVE having them all over! I make the same meals I normally make for Daniel and I...the only difference is less leftovers!

Thanks, Rachel! I love it, too! Sometimes I plan meals like spaghetti just so I have an excuse to make garlic bread!

I told Joe how jealous I am of all the good food he gets to try and eat! Thanks for spoiling him at those long night study sessions.
