Weekly meal prep is my lifesaver for living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining my 100-pound weight loss.

Heck, any cooking I can do ahead of time is incredibly helpful so that I can always have healthy options around for breakfasts and snacks.

And eggs are such a great option for me! I’m always looking for protein-packed foods, especially for breakfast, because they actually keep me full until lunch (whereas cereal keeps me full for about 20 minutes).

And using your Instant Pot for eggs is about as easy as you can get!

How to Make Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs In Your Instant Pot

Just pour in a cup of water (I use a 6-quart Instant Pot).

Set your eggs carefully on your trivet.

And set your machine to high pressure for 2 minutes.

It will take your machine a bit of time to come to pressure, usually around 10 minutes for me.

And then you just walk away.

You don’t have to worry about waiting for water to boil or worry about your water boiling over (ahem…not that that’s happened to me…).Just walk away and do what you need to do.

Your machine will beep at you when the 2-minute cooking cycle is done. Let the pressure naturally release for 10-12 minutes.

Release any remaining pressure with a quick release, open the lid, and you have a beautiful pot of hard boiled eggs.

I usually do a dozen at one time, but when my sister needed to cook a bunch of eggs for my niece and nephew to dye for Easter this year, I piled 2 dozen in there at once and they all cooked perfectly.

And the best part of all? They are SO easy to peel! You can see here that I’m peeling it one-handed. The shell seriously comes right off and my eggs don’t look like they have been beaten up afterward!

Which makes them perfect for deviled eggs because they still look beautiful on a platter after peeling.

You can use them in an egg salad, as they are for a quick high-protein breakfast or snack, chopped as a topping for a salad, sliced on whole wheat toast or whole wheat crackers, or for a platter of deviled eggs.

Hey Becky, I use my steamer to steam my eggs. We have our own chickens so really fresh eggs. Which are impossible to peel if you boil them. I just heard about steaming them this year and decided to try it since we have a steamer that I use for steaming veggies. I will never make hard boiled eggs any other way again! Super easy to peel!

Yes! I've heard that the Instant Pot method is similar to steaming in how easy they are to peel!

Do you turn off the 'Warm' option or keep it on? (I have the Instant Pot Duo - It was a Christmas gift from husband & daughter bc I've put off buying one for the last 4-5yrs)
