A Prayer For Easter Dinner
Father,
We are grateful for the opportunity to gather as loved ones to celebrate the One who loves us most. If it weren’t for Your great love, we would not be sharing in the victory of Christ today. Yet, we are grateful for Your love so great, that You sent Your Son into the world for us, to take our place, and to conquer sin and death once and for all.
As we share in this meal, help us to reflect on the reality that Christ is the bread of life. May we find great pleasure in the gifts that He has given us, which not only include this wonderful meal, and the people who sit around this table, but for the gift of life itself, that He has not only given us for this time, but for eternity.
We ask that You would make Yourself known in each of our hearts, and that we would know the deep love that has compelled Christ to walk the path to the cross. May we share that love with one another, and walk in love, patience, kindness, forgiveness, forbearance, and generosity with one another.
May this food before us be a blessing to our bodies, and a reminder of the many wonderful gifts that You have blessed us with.
Please bless our fellowship as we feast together, and help us to celebrate Christ, and seek His glory in our lives, hearts and conversations.

Gracious God,
On this Easter Day, I cannot help but thank You for all the blessings that You have afforded us. Thank You for the gift that Christ has given us in eternal life, by taking our place on the cross, nailing sin to it, and defeating it once and for all.
Thank You for the resurrection, and that we get to proclaim that Christ our King is alive!
My prayer is that those who I love, my friends and family would be blessed by the gospel, as You have blessed me. May Your grace follow them, and lead them to see the beauty of Christ. May they surrender their hearts to His Lordship, and become a part of Your flock.
I ask that You bless our time together as we share a meal. May Your love be so evident among us, and season our time of fellowship. Help us to have conversations that honor You, and hearts that are sobered and focused on the finished work of Christ.
I ask that You bless every person who will be sharing in this meal together, and those who are not here. May we remind one another of the hope that we have in Christ, and may our faith grow stronger as we spur one another on, and encourage one another.

A Prayer Of Gratitude – “He Is Risen!”
Father in Heaven,
I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for my Lord and King, Jesus. Thank You for His selfless sacrifice on the cross that paid my debt of sin.
If it weren’t for His work on the cross, I would not be here today. So thank You for Your mercy, and for the victory of Christ over sin and death!
I can say with great joy that my Redeemer lives! He lives, and He has overcome sin, and defeated death. Thank You for raising Him from the dead, and for removing the sting that death once held. He is not only my hope for this life, but for all eternity, and for that I can never thank You enough.
In the light of Christ’s resurrection, my prayer is that You would help me to die to myself, and the passions of my flesh.
Help me, like Christ, to lay down my life and pick up my cross each day. Help me to remember Christ’s sacrifice on my behalf, not only today, but every day, and help me to live in the light of what He has done.
There is nothing that this world can do to overthrow Christ’s reign, and I am so thankful that He has already overcome this world. Knowing this, I pray that You would help me to be filled with courage, and boldness, as I live my life for Him, just as He gave His life for me.

An Easter Sunday Prayer Of Worship
Lord Jesus,
I give You all the praise and honor. There is no one who compares to You. You alone are the way, the truth and the life, and we can only find life in You, and through You. I ask that You forgive me for all the times when I have misplaced my trust, and have sought what only You can give in other places.
There is no one else who deserves our worship, praise and adoration apart from You. I ask that You would fill my heart today with a fresh sense of awe, and wonder of who You are. Create in me a clean heart, and a desire to seek Your will, and Yours alone.
Thank You for the gift of eternal life, and that I get to live each day knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake me. Thank You for Your victory that we get to partake in as believers, and for the eternal hope that You have given us.
It is not a hope that perishes, or that fails, but one that is sure because You have promised, and You never fail.
Thank You for this day that we get to remember the finished work of Christ on the cross. May our lives be a witness to Your goodness, and bring You glory.

Heavenly Father,
We come to You with grateful hearts, not only for the meal that we get to share together on Easter, but for all that this special day entails. We remember His body broken for us, and His blood shed for our sake. We rejoice in His resurrection, proclaiming that our King is alive, and He is risen!
Thank You that we get to share in this beautiful truth. Just as Christ died on the cross, we ask that You would help us to die to ourselves and to our sins each day. As Christ rose again, we ask that You would help us to take up our cross, and to live in the new life that Christ has purchased for us.
As we share this meal with loved ones, we ask that our hearts be filled with gratitude for all that Christ has done, and that we would worship Him for all that He is. May our meal be blessed, and our time together even more.

Dear God,
Thank You for Jesus, and thank You for the cross. Thank You for every good and perfect gift that comes from above. There are too many to count, but if I had to number them, I would thank You for Your Son. Thank You for my family, and my friends.
