It’s Amazon Prime Day 2018! Here are the healthy eating and fitness deals you should be watching out for today that will help you on your weight loss journey.
I have lost 100 pounds myself and these are some of the products that have helped me do it.
I’ve mentioned most of them in other posts before, but I probably didn’t mention that I don’t make purchases like this when things aren’t on sale, which is why I am strongly recommending that if you are even a little bit interested in any of these products, that you watch and see if they go on sale today!
Amazon Prime Membership
Prime Day deals are only for people who have Prime memberships, so the first thing you need to do is make sure you have an Amazon Prime Membership. You can sign up here for a free prime 30-day trial and jump into the deals!
My Fitbit was attached to my wrist for years and it helped me so much in learning how to be more active. And I love that it also tracks my sleep! I have the Fitbit Charge HR, but I’ve heard great things about them all!
My Garmin watch has been the most helpful tool in going from a couch potato to a runner. It shows me my time, distance, speed, and I even have the heart rate chest strap to tell me my heart rate along the way. I use the purple Garmin Forerunner 15 and absolutely love it.
Fitbits and Garmins can be pretty pricey, so the best time to get them is when they go on sale.

Amazon Echo or Echo Dot
We just got an Amazon Echo for our wedding and I am already in love with it.

Prime Day hasn’t even officially started and they are already going for half off!
Learning to cook more at home was a huge deal for me in my weight loss and some of my favorite products are probably going to go on amazing sales today.
I use my Instant Pot all. the. time. for healthy meal prep (easiest hard boiled eggs to peel EVER!) and I love mine so much, my business partner Sara and I even created a course on How To Use Your Instant Pot for Weight Loss.
I use the 6-Quart Duo Plus. I have a few accessories (I love the silicone egg bite pans!), but I’ll be watching for more today!
I use a food processor for shredding lots of sweet potatoes, zucchinis, and carrots to freeze in individual serving bags to easily throw into recipes for extra nutrients.
Protein powder is also a product I use in my healthy diet. I don’t use it daily, but I always use it when I make green smoothies and also in some peanut butter breakfast bars that I love and some overnight oats recipes. It tastes great and it’s an easy way to add protein to your breakfast to help keep you full. I use the Gold Standard Protein Powder and I try to only buy it on sale, so this is one I will be watching for today!
I also use my slow cooker a lot. It’s great for the busy nights when I don’t have time to cook, so I can prep dinner the night before, plug it in in the morning, and have a hot meal waiting when I get home. It sure helps me not to be tempted to go out to eat!
At-Home Workout Fitness Accessories
I’ve loved some gym workout classes I’ve tried, but I honestly just prefer working out at home. It’s easier to fit into my schedule and I like being in the comfort of my own living room.
My hand weights have been so important in strength training. I’ve always had weak arms, so I have 2-lb, 5-lb, 8-lb, and 10-lb weights so that I always have the specific weight I need for any given exercise.
I also love using resistance bands. They are lightweight, portable, and not as bulky as hand weights, but they can still give you a killer workout!
If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you know my water bottle is practically attached to me at any given time. If you don’t have one you love, you need one!
Yoga mats are also great for at-home workouts. I only have hardwood floors in my house, so I definitely need that padding for floor exercises!
The last thing I recommend you look for today is active wear – running shoes (great for walking too!), leggings, tops, socks.
When I finally bought good running shoes, it made all the difference in the world in learning to run. It was SO much more comfortable. A
nd I used to run in baggy pants and a cotton t-shirt, but getting proper workout clothes helps you to feel so much better.
I highly recommend Brooks running shoes (I use the Brooks Adrenalines), Balega Hidden Comfort Running Socks, and moisture-wicking clothing that isn’t too baggy (because wind resistance is a thing and the extra fabric just tangles you up and gets in the way!).
