Healthy Strawberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles Recipe
These Healthy Strawberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles made with fresh strawberries and honey make for a fun and refreshing healthy summer snack or dessert.
It is getting hot around here these days! Now, I always have to preface that by saying it’s hot in comparison to what our normal Colorado weather is like. After spending 7 years in Tucson, Arizona, nothing else really qualifies as truly hot, BUT it’s warm enough to shift into summer mode.
I’ve broken out my summer wardrobe, my hot drinks have turned to iced drinks, and my winter baking has turned into grilling so we can keep the kitchen cool. I am very thankful for a basement bedroom right now.
One of the marks of the summer season for me are popsicles. Now, I don’t usually reach for frozen treats. They kind of hurt my teeth and most of the time I’d rather have a cupcake, but even I would rather reach for an ice-cold snack on those afternoons when the sun is blazing.
How To Make Healthy Popsicles
These strawberry Greek yogurt popsicles are super simple and straightforward. Just gather up a few ingredients – plain Greek yogurt, honey, and fresh strawberries.

And blend it all together. I use an immersion blender, but you could use a regular blender or food processor, too. Then pour the mixture into adorable popsicle molds.

I’m a HUGE fan of the silicone molds because the popsicles come out so much easier. And these are colorful and swirly and adorable.

The only downfall is that these molds are a bit smaller than typical popsicle molds and I only have one set of them, so I ended up pouring the rest of the mixture into an ice cube tray.
I stuck little toothpicks in about an hour after I put them into the freezer and my nephew LOVED the tiny popsicles.

They make such a refreshing summer treat!

I love that it only uses 3 ingredients and, when the strawberries are sweet enough, sometimes I don’t need to add any honey at all.

The Greek yogurt gives you a little bit of protein, which makes this a healthy and nutritious snack that you can “treat” your kids (and yourself!) with.

Do you use plain greek yogurt or could you use vanilla flavored?
Michele, I use plain Greek yogurt to keep the sugar levels low, but vanilla-flavored would absolutely work.
