Want to drink more water but don’t like the taste of plain water? Use these 4 natural flavor combinations to jazz up your water.
The temperature is heating up these days and I am more and more thankful every day to be missing the 100+ degree temperatures of Arizona!
But whether you’re living in the desert or not, it’s important to stay hydrated at this time of year.
I haven’t always been the avid water drinker that I am today. I used to hate the taste of plain water and avoid it at all costs. For years, I carried a bottle of berry pomegranate Mio with me wherever I went.
I really wanted to get away from all of the artificial sweeteners (they seriously mess with your taste buds), so I started playing around with different water infusions…and immediately fell in love!
REAL berries and pomegranate seeds taste so much better than the squeeze bottles, not to mention that they are a zillion times better for you!
And it’s super easy to make. Pick your favorite fruits, chop ’em up, add water, and if you want the flavor to be stronger, chill for a few hours before drinking.
That’s all there is to it!
It’s kind of like making a super healthy alcohol-free sangria. And the combinations are endless!
Want to spice up your 4th of July celebration? Use strawberries and blue or blackberries for the splash of patriotic colors.
Looking for an extra burst of coolness in your drink? Try the fresh mint!
