30 Days of Modified Juicing – Day 18
I wanted to utilize my energy kick while I still had it after step class last night, so I made sure to make fresh juice for today before I crashed. Â I’m so glad I did! Â It’s such a nice way to start the morning.
This pile of produce…
became this bottle of juice. Â Not bad! Â And I was able to cut down my juicing time! Â From start to finish, it only took me 20 minutes! Â That is way more manageable than the hour it was taking me before!
Did I mention that Bethany had her baby?! Â Amariah was born earlier this week and I got some major baby therapy in this afternoon! Â She’s so tiny and so, so sweet! Â I actually remembered to bring my camera, so there will be some non-iPhone pictures soon!
And I decided to gather up the Easter candy from the basket I received the other day and pack it in a box and keep it up in my closet for the next couple of weeks.  And I may have added some candy to the box that we found on clearance at Target.  I had it in my head that the gummy Sweetarts candy bunnies were my absolute favorite Easter candy, so we picked up way too many of them. But I opened one of the boxes up and one look told me they weren’t the candy I was thinking they were.  The candy I was thinking of was definitely not sugar-coated.  Major bummer.

See how the rest of the juicing experiment went:

It’s great you’re making your own juice! While food shopping tonite, I looked at the prepared
juices & they have so much sugar!
Thank you! I’ve noticed the same thing! I’m sure the fresh juice has plenty of sugar, too, since fruit has quite a bit of sugar in it naturally, but I know that I feel much better drinking fresh juice versus store bought! It just takes motivation to break out the juicer and actually make it!
