30 Days of Modified Juicing – Day 16
I finally lost some weight again! Â That definitely added some excitement to my very tired morning! Â I will definitely say that when I was only drinking juice, I slept incredibly well. Â I would fall asleep when I was supposed to, wake up when I was supposed to, and sleep soundly in between. Â It was perfect. Â Now, I may have to go back to taking 1/2 of a melatonin every night. Â I’m tired when I go to bed, but am having a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. Â And in my family, we don’t function well on bad sleep. Â Except my dad. Â He’s a doctor. Â He’s always had to function on bad/no sleep and does it amazingly well.
I went to visit the school where I’ll be working next year this afternoon. Â I love my current school, but I am so excited to start over at the new one! Â It sounds like a place with great teachers who really want to do all they can to make their classes fully accessible to all of their students. Â I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this means they will have very few uncaptioned movies! Â They are the bane of my interpreting existence. Â AND the school is about a 3 minute drive. Â Head over feels over that!
I had a little leftover juice from yesterday that I drank for breakfast and then resorted to Naked juice for lunch.  It’s so hard for me to get up my motivation to make fresh juice!  I have plenty of motivation, however, for making other things! I came up with an avocado mixture that I ate on cucumber slices for dinner.  It was extremely satisfying!  Avocados are one of my favorite foods and the one I used tonight was perfect!
The Menu
Breakfast: Juice (2 cups watermelon, 1/2 pint blueberries, 1/4 of a peeled cucumber, 1/4 cup of baby spinach, 1 large carrot, 1 apple)
Lunch: 8 oz Blue Machine Naked juice and 1/3 cup of dried apples
Dinner: Cucumber and Avocado Bites (recipe to come!)
Weight Loss Since Yesterday: -1.0 pound (Yay!)
Weight Loss Since Day 1: -3.9 pounds
Mood: So happy to be back in the kitchen! Â I’ve missed my oven.
See how the rest of the juicing experiment went:
